Q: Can a patient see my session notes?
No. Session notes are stored in an isolated database table and are never returned by any patient-facing API endpoint, regardless of how the request is made.

Q: What happens if I create a leave block over existing appointments?
All overlapping scheduled or confirmed appointments are automatically cancelled, and each affected patient receives a message asking them to rebook.

Q: Can I export my appointment data?
Yes. Click Export .ics on the Appointments page to download a calendar file compatible with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook.

Q: What currencies are supported?
USD, EUR, GBP, ILS (₪), CAD, AUD, and CHF. Set your default in Settings. You can override the currency per invoice.

Q: How long does a patient portal invite link last?
7 days. If it expires, go to the patient's detail page and send a new invite.

Q: Can patients cancel their own appointments?
Yes, from the portal or mobile app. You will receive an in-app notification and email when a patient cancels.

Q: How do I change a patient's email address?
Go to the patient's detail page → edit their profile.

Q: What is the difference between a session note and a message?
Session notes are your private clinical records — structured, permanent, and never shared. Messages are the two-way communication channel between you and the patient — they appear in both your inbox and the patient's portal.
