Use Blocked Time for anything on your calendar that is not a session — focus time, a meeting with your accountant, a course.
It blocks the time so patients cannot book it, and it appears on your calendar on web and in the app. Nothing is cancelled and nobody is notified.
If a blocked time would overlap an appointment you already have, it is refused and the clash is named, so a patient's session is never silently displaced. Move or cancel that appointment first if you really need the time.
This is not Leave & Closures. Leave means you are away: creating it cancels every overlapping appointment and messages those patients. Blocked Time never does that. If you are taking time off, use Leave & Closures.
Add one from Blocked Time in the sidebar (web) or in More → Blocked Time (app): pick start and end, give it a title, and it appears in your list and on your calendar. Delete it to free the time again. Blocked time is one-off; there is no repeating option.
